Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage social media content
• Create and edit videos and photographs
• Collaborate with team members and facilitate discussions to understand web page needs
• Develop marketing strategies and analyze trends
• Storyboard using images, videos, and other social media
• Initiate, plan, execute, control, and close projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, English/journalism, or a related communications field
• 1-3 years of marketing, communications, media, or public relations experience preferred
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated interest in the visual arts and youth education
• Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems, HTML, Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, video, photography, and experience managing websites
• Working knowledge of content management systems and website hierarchy
• Experience in copy editing, grammar, syntax, vocabulary, spelling, and punctuation according to AP style
• Knowledge of standard office procedures
• Experience with capturing video and photography, as well as editing
• Knowledge of social media and digital content development and trends
• Sufficient human relations skills to work cooperatively as part of a team
