About the Job
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Communications Specialist to be the expert in crafting high-quality, impactful content and overseeing the design and visualization efforts to ensure the final product is both informative and visually engaging.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the creation and distribution of newsletters tailored to diverse audiences, including general organizational IC agency, government officials, and leadership
- Create newsletters for different audiences, ensuring each is tailored to their specific communication needs with the appropriate level of detail and frequency
- Develop and implement communication strategies based on IC Agency input
- Recommend timelines and delivery methods, ensuring accessibility and alignment with organizational standards
- Collaborate with IC agencies to gather insights and tailor content to meet audience expectations and requirements
- Produce and deliver digital newsletters in accessible formats, such as PDF or Word files, ensuring content is appropriately classified and visually appealing
- Oversee the design and visualization aspects of newsletters, ensuring that graphics, layouts, and visual elements enhance the overall communication and engagement
- Develop and manage a project schedule outlining deliverables and timelines, ensuring high standards of professionalism and quality
- Review and edit communication products for accuracy, consistency, and clarity, maintaining a polished and professional tone
- Provide ongoing communication support, including the preparation and dissemination of newsletters for different audiences
- Utilize tools such as MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and collaboration platforms to effectively create, manage, and distribute content
Here is what you need:
- Requires a bachelor's degree and 18+ years of professional experience or a master's degree and 10+ years of professional experience, or 24+ years of professional experience in strategic communication and content development in lieu of a degree.
- Professional experience in the following are required:
- Experience in developing and editing communication products, with a focus on newsletters and audience engagement
- Experience in overseeing the design and visual elements of communication products to ensure they are engaging and effective
- Experience in tailoring communication strategies to engage IC agencies
- Experience in managing communication projects from inception to delivery, ensuring timely completion and high-quality outputs
- Experience with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and collaboration tools for content creation and distribution
Security Clearance:
- An Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required to start.
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
