Location: Bremerton, WA. This is a hybrid position with approximately 3 Days in Office and 2 Days Remote. Type: Non-Exempt Compensation: $23.22 - $33.65/hour (Skookum's compensation strategy is to position new employees between the minimum and midpoint of this range, depending on qualifications and experience.) Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday 7:30am– Friday 4:00pm, (flexible start and end times depending on scheduling needs.) As a Communications Specialist you'll… lead and support company-wide apparel and promotional branding, manage website updates, and assist with marketing materials and internal communications to ensure consistency and accuracy. Lead company-wide apparel and swag/promotional branding efforts. Oversee uniform ordering website and products, work directly with vendors to address issues and solutions, coordinate with site managers and leads to procure uniforms for site operations. Responsible for website updates and collaborating with web developers on larger projects. Assist with updating marketing materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency, formatting, and branding. Create and send company-wide emails to share news, promotions, and internal campaign and event information. Assist with social media content to include idea development, copywriting, and posting. Design graphics and post content as needed to support team initiatives. Order business essentials such as business cards, letterhead, and other materials, coordinating with vendors. Update company-wide digital signage with new content, including creating templates and adding new media as needed. Order swag items for marketing and recruiting purposes as well as company awards such as plaques, coins, etc. All Other Duties as Assigned* You'd make an excellent Communications Specialist if you: Consider yourself a people person.
