Cisco is seeking an enthusiastic Communications Specialist to join our strategic communications team. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in marketing and communications, with strong writing and editing skills, and a solid project and program management background to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role requires excellent interpersonal communication abilities and a proactive approach to managing multiple projects. Experience in change management is a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop, edit, and manage internal communications, including presentations, newsletters, FAQs, and updates on program and risk mitigation changes.
- Digital Communication: Create and oversee engaging content for digital platforms, including intranet sites and awareness campaigns.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research to support communication plans and evaluate the effectiveness of communication efforts through analytics and feedback.
- Stakeholder Impact Assessment: Identify audience needs using impact assessment templates, interviews, and user experience or journey mapping.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather information, ensure message consistency, and support diverse communication needs.
- Project/Program Management: Coordinate and manage communication projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company goals.
- Experience: 7+ years in communications, cross-functional engagements, or a related field.
- Writing and Editing: Exceptional writing and editing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Digital Communication: Proficient in digital communication tools and platforms, including social media and email marketing software.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Project/Program Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of change management procedures and processes.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Eloqua, Trello, and/or Microsoft Forms or Qualtrics.
- Skills in cybersecurity awareness and education.
- Experience in design and video production is a plus.
