The Communications Specialist (Temporary Position) will administer aspects of our corporate communications programs to engage and inform our global employees. Administering these communications with excellence will directly contribute to increasing our ability to align and inspire talent at CONMED. This is a five month temporary assignment from January through May.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain internal communications calendar, including timing and key messaging, for areas such as recognition, engagement, etc.
- Edit communications for correct grammar, tone, and clarity.
- Coordinate review and approval process for all corporate communications and organizational announcements.
- Coordinate all set up and distribution of communications utilizing our corporate communications system, including creation of custom distribution lists.
- Support users of communications platform with administrative needs, such as platform access, password resets, etc.
- Monitor Corporate Communications email inbox
Position Qualifications
- Available to work up to 20 hours per week.
- Associate's degree or pursuing a Bachelor's degree to be completed by May 2025
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a focus on liberal arts, communications, marketing, design, or another related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
This position is not eligible for employer-based sponsorship.
Disclosure as required by applicable law, the hourly pay rate for this position is $20/hour-$31/hour. The hourly pay rate is CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting.
