We are looking for a skilled communications coordinator who has a passion for storytelling and an eye for detail. Under the direction of the corporate communication manager, they will support our award-winning culture by assisting with the production of corporate news and employee feature stories on our company intranet. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative with a knack for building relationships. A cover letter and writing samples are required for all applicants.
T his position will train with our team member then cover for her during her maternity leave . The position is based out of our Salt Lake office but can work from home most days .
Responsibilities
- Create and manage content such as emails, blog posts, web banners, digital signs, e-newsletters, infographics, videos, and presentations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet the communication needs of our people and programs
- Manage communication projects and content calendars; track all deliverables, ensure assignments and next steps are understood, and meet deadlines Maintain company intranet pages as needed
- Assist with video and photography needs
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Great organizational and time management skills
- Intermediate computer skills with experience using MS Word and PowerPoint
- Beginner to intermediate multi-media production skills
- Act in a self-directed, accountable way when completing tasks; willing to take initiative and manage responsibilities independently while meeting deadlines
- Solution-focused with ability to think strategically and creatively
- Thrive in fast-paced environment
- Experience in Canva, Photoshop, ContactMonkey, and Smartsheet a plus
- Knowledge of AP Style is a plus
Education and Years of Experience
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations, communications, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of communications, marketing or PR experience and substantial writing experience, e.g., newspaper/magazine articles, blogs, corporate newsletters, press releases, marketing materials
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay of $25.00/hour
CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
