Community Based Contract Compliance Auditor, Southern Region - American Technology Consulting

Worksite Address: Bloomington IN 47403Work Arrangement: HybridThe auditor will conduct reviews throughout DCS regions 8, 12, 13, 14,15,16,17,and 18 which covers the bottom half of the state. Community Based reviews willevaluate DCS services and billing to assure there are no errors and billing hasbeen performed appropriately. The auditor will educate, recommend and createplans of corrections when any errors are found.The auditor will conduct audits throughout the same regions as listed above.Community based audits will be a more comprehensive look at a providerspractices from point of service to billing. The auditor will educate, recommend,and create plans of corrections as well as pursue any financial damages to thestate within this process.The auditor will travel in a team to DCS contracted provider locations toconduct reviews and audits. The auditor will also be part of a larger statewideteam that will have weekly team Teams meetings, monthly division Teams meetingsand quarterly face to face meetings in Central Office in Marion County.The auditor will be responsible for suggesting process improvement within theteam and within the division and will be responsible for adhering to allapplicable state laws, policies, service standards, and procedures. The auditorwill be responsible to participate in trainings to assist them in maintaining afull understanding of their position and its responsibilities.Travel: This position covers DCS regions 8, 12, 13, 14,15,16,17, and 18. Travelto DCS provider locations within the regions is required. Travel will be asfrequent as twice a week. Four times a year the auditor will be required totravel to Central Office in Marion County to participate in a Division meeting.
