A K2 Community Connector- Regional Manager is a liaison between the community, Community Connectors and K2. This person represents K2 values and culture, with the ability to exude K2 philosophy to community partners and strengthen relationships. A Community Connector- Regional Manager should feel comfortable discussing studies and processes with patients and caregivers in addition to key community stakeholders. They support a team of Community Connectors while also providing KPI’s for the K2 leadership team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining relationships large scale relationships with community partners
- Strong ability to read and understand study protocols as well as attending investigator meetings, start-up meetings, and coordinating with principal investigator on study related matters
- Aid connectors in triaging patients to determine eligibility for active and/or potential studies, this may include prescreening and conducting memory testing, chart review, discussions with physicians, and scheduling patients
- Facilitating educational seminars on topics of interests in various settings
- Educating patients, families, communities, and physicians regarding study participation
- Entering and tracking all data through database and all trackers, assuring all information is entered and up to date
- Providing EOM and EOY metrics for all connectors in region
- Maintain select physician relationships by providing feedback and follow-up
- Maintain Community Ambassador relationships as appropriate, tracking relationships and providing feedback and follow-up
- Creation of materials for Community Connectors including study summary sheets, community presentations, and assisting in navigating study trials
- Special projects as assigned, this may include data projects or special events and event planning
- Other tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to work in fast paced environment with excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks

- Fully proficient in computer applications used in day-to-day functions.
- Tech savvy and ability to navigate different CTMS systems as well as Microsoft Office platforms with an emphasis on Excel workbooks
- Ability to work under multiple deadlines, multitask, and adapt rapidly to changing priorities
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional and friendly phone manner
- Team player with a positive attitude
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in clinical research with a strong understanding of study trials and recruitment initiatives
- Must be flexible with schedule
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
