Position Summary:

The Community Housing Specialist is responsible for advocating for all supportive housing residents who reside in LIHTC propert...Associate’s degree with at least 1 year of experience working in property management environment. An individual in this position should possess strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach. Strong computer literacy skills are essential to this position. Must have certification in low- income housing tax credits (or obtain within 6 months from date of hire). Knowledge of HUD requirements and accounting experience is a plus. Good verbal and written communication skills are also required. Experience and/or education in working with people with disabilities is a plus. Must have a valid NYS driver’s license and access to a vehicle. Must be able to travel throughout the five boroughs and Long Island.
