PositionSummary
ReportingtoReportingto ShiftSupervisor,thePack-OutLeadPersonisresponsiblefor supervising the Pack-out team and overseeing the pack-out process
PositionResponsibilities
· Superviseandworkalongsidethe PackOut(totefilling) employees.
- Assureallpack-outemployeescomplywithregulatoryrequirementsasdirected by the Plant Manager.
- Assure that all employees assigned to the pack-out area comply with Olam PeanutShellingGoodManufacturingPractices(GMPs),PreventiveControls,and all other Food Safety policies.
- Assurethatallemployeesassignedtothepack-outareacomplywiththeOlam Peanut Shelling Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) policy.
- OperatethefillingcontrolsofthePack-Outscale.
- AssurethecorrectFSIStagsareusedonthecorrectbags.
- Inspectbagspriortofillingforfilthanddebris,rejectinganypotentially contaminated bags.
- Record,document,andreporttothePlantManageranydiscrepancytoStandard OperatingProcedures(SOPs),StandardSanitationOperatingProcedures(SSOPs), or Preventive Controls.
- PerformroutinesanitaryfunctionstomaintainSafeFoodmanufacturing guidelines and in accordance with the Master Sanitation Schedule.
- UnderstandofiPeanutShellingsafetypolicies,worksafelyandreportanysafety hazards or unsafe conditions to the Plant Manager or Safety Coordinator.
- FollowofiPeanutShellingCompanyPersonalProtectiveEquipment(PPEs) guidelines.
- FollowallofiPeanutShellingCompanyGoodManufacturingPractices(GMPs), Preventive Control Rules, and Occupational Safety Rules.
- Workcloselywithmaintenancepersonneltokeepequipmentinstandard operating condition.
- InconjunctionwithQCpersonnel,assistintesting,recording,anddocumenting the Pack-Out magnet efficiency.
- Abilitytomulti-task.
- Performotherduties asassigned.
PositionRequirements
- Highschooldiploma/GEDpreferred.
- Abilityto leadateam
- Previousmachineoperatingexperienceinamanufacturingfacility,orsimilarrelevant experience preferred. Prior Pack-Out experience preferred.
- ValidForkliftdrivingcertificationpreferred
- Goodcommunicationskills.
- Physicaldexterity.
