About the Job
Newport Pacific Capital, a recognized leader in manufactured housing, RV resort, and apartment community management has a job opportunity for a Community Manager or Community Management Team in Southern CA.
Under the supervision of a Regional Manager, the Community Manager is responsible for the uniform enforcement of rules and regulations while maintaining strong resident relations and ensuring compliance with the law.
Day-to-day tasks may include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure a clean, safe, and code-compliant environment.
- Uphold and value every resident’s right to peaceful enjoyment of their homesite and the community.
- Collect and deposit rent payments, and perform all related data entry and bookkeeping tasks.
- Process applications for tenancy and facilitate a seamless move-in/move-out process.
- Prepare tenancy contracts and corresponding documents and present them for signing.
- Perform routine inspections and take corrective action for deficiencies.
- Handle resident complaints with urgency and empathy.
- Recognize and address maintenance needs.
- Solicit third-party contractor bids and oversee third-party projects.
- Effectively respond to urgent/emergency situations that sometimes occur outside of normal business hours.
- Other unspecified reasonable tasks as assigned by a supervisor to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the community.
Desired skills & experience:
- Minimum two years' property MHC experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of the MRL and Title 25.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Rent Manager experience is a plus.
Driver's license, vehicle, and vehicle insurance required.
Compensation:
- $24-$26 per hour (depending on experience and need for housing) with a benefits package after successful completion of an introductory period.
