Community Outreach Representative - Entry Level - OED Solutions

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Community Outreach Representative to join our team! In this role, you’ll be the face of our organization, building strong relationships within the community, raising awareness for our mission, and helping drive positive change through direct outreach efforts. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference and connecting with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Community Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and residents to increase awareness of our initiatives.
• Event Representation: Represent our organization at community events, fairs, and other outreach activities, sharing information about our programs and services.
• Outreach Campaigns: Assist in planning and executing outreach campaigns to engage the community, including setting up informational booths and distributing promotional materials.
• Public Speaking: Conduct presentations to educate the public about our mission, goals, and services.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our internal team to coordinate outreach efforts, ensuring alignment with our organization’s objectives.
• Data Tracking: Gather feedback and track engagement to help measure the effectiveness of outreach efforts and identify opportunities for improvement.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Background: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field preferred; experience in community outreach or public engagement is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
• Interpersonal Abilities: Strong people skills and a knack for building rapport with community members and stakeholders.
• Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple events and outreach activities simultaneously.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
