Circle of Care for Families and Children of Passaic County, Inc. of Woodland Park, NJ is seeking to hire a Community Resource Development Support Specialist to join our CRD team and support with the daily operation of The Circle, Circle of Care's community and youth center.
- Maintain high integrity while modeling the core values of Circle of Care.
- Support the CRRD Director in day-to-day operations of COC Youth Center, including but not limited to assisting with the coordination of scheduling for staff, community partnership events, being present at scheduled events, etc.
- Assist CRRD in outreach efforts to educate staff, system partners, community stakeholders and youth and families about the COC Youth Center.
- Support, when needed, the CRRD Director in day-to-day operations of COC Youth Center, including but not limited to assisting with the coordination of scheduling for staff, community partnership events, being present at scheduled events, etc.
- Assist CRRD in outreach efforts to educate staff, system partners, community stakeholders and youth and families about Circle of Care and The COC Youth Center.
- Ensure Youth Center maintenance issues are addressed.
- Collaborate with service providers and care managers to resolve authorization issues,
ensuring seamless access to required services for youth and families. - Assist CRDD Director with preparation for and facilitation of community and in-center events.
- Maintain PRN and assist in the upkeep of COC social media/electronic outlets.
- Assist in the identification and dissemination of relevant community resources for youth and families.
- Perform data collection and data entry as needed.
- Manage the scheduling of specialty evaluations for youth, coordinating with relevant
parties to ensure timely and appropriate assessments. - Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
- Possess a valid Driver's License
- Occasional nights and weekends
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, not required
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
Circle of Care is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting Passaic County multiple-needs children and their families. We partner with families to provide support for children with complex needs including behavioral, emotional, and developmental disabilities.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required: in Psychology, Sociology, or other related Social Science, or equivalent experience
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- Knowledge of Passaic County resources preferred
