About the role
The Community Support Manager will be responsible for the supervision of 5-6 Community Support Professionals within a community group of 40-50 individuals in services. CSM will report directly to the Service Implementation Manager (SIM). This role focuses on supporting the SIM as well as training and developing Community Support Professionals (CSPs). The CSM is responsible for ensuring their team of CSP's are well versed in the participants PCP plans and that activities match the goals of those plans.
What you"ll do
- Supervise 5-6 Community Support Professionals (CSPs) in activity development and goal monitoring.
- Participate in team meetings with Service Implementation Manager (SIM) and other specialists.
- Facilitate CSP meetings and coordinate all-hands meetings with other CSMs.
- Monitor and supervise community-based CSP activities to ensure alignment with goals and skill-building.
- Conduct performance evaluations and address work performance issues.
- Ensure compliance with data requirements in iCareManager.
- Collaborate with Training and Quality Assurance for staff training.
- Develop and communicate activity schedules; ensure staff coverage.
- Provide training and support on service delivery and technology use.
- Communicate program needs with SIM.
- Maintain organized and hazard-free program areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred; 5 years' experience working in direct support with Individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities can substitute for degree.
- Abreast with Montgomery County and/or Prince George's County activities and resources
- A valid driver"s license, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and willingness to drive company vehicles.
- Required: 2-3 years' experience working in direct support with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
- Prior Management experience preferred.

- Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm
