Work Location: Hybrid - Atlanta, GA - On-site presence required Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tuesday & Thursday are remote, however, you must be willing to work on-site on these days pending business needs.
Description:
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Assists in educating employees and managers about the organizations compensation programs and philosophy.
- Determines appropriate salary quotes for new hires, transfers, promotions, and demotions using an established methodology.
- Participates in administration of annual performance management, incentive, or salary increase program.
- Processes wage and salary changes resulting from merit increases, promotions or other job changes, or market adjustments.
- Ensures the completeness and accuracy of employee transactions and evaluation forms.
- Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to senior level staff.
- Maintains professional development by participating in educational programs and professional organizations and by networking with other compensation and human resources professionals.
- Participates in salary surveys, completes survey questionnaires, and researches additional sources of quality market data.
- Assists senior team members in creating better compensation related processes to better support service lines.
- Partners with HR BPs in the maintaining or creating of job descriptions, equity reviews, salary concerns, and other compensation related functions.
- Performs compensation related responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
- Supports, analyzes, evaluates, and monitors the administration of the organization's compensation programs to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Reviews related policies, procedures, and programs, while assisting in educating employees and manager level employees in their application of such practices.
- Conducts market analyses and recommends market adjustments for specific jobs by compiling market data and calculating market variances to maintain the competitive status of the organization's compensation program.
- Actively participates in developing and achieving departmental objects and goals.
- Builds relationships with internal client groups and liaises with Human Resources business partners (HR BP) to deliver consistent and high-quality customer service.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
- 1-2 years of professional human resources experience, preferably in healthcare, preferred.
- Previous compensation administration strongly preferred. Performs work under direct supervision.
- Must demonstrate strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge in PeopleSoft, Workday or Oracle preferred.
- Ability to work to work as a team.
Education:
- A bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, health education or related field.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
