About the Job
The Compensation Analyst will be responsible for evaluating, designing, implementing, and maintaining global compensation programs across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provides compensation administration, analysis, and pay structure design to ensure the company is competitive in its compensation policies and practices.
- Performs job evaluations and analysis of jobs, compensation benchmarking, and data collection.
- Benchmarks jobs against survey data to determine compensation ranges for positions. Maintains salary structure and job tables.
- Provides guidance on compensation design and topics.
- Assists in the development and implementation of salary administration, compensation policies, and variable sales plans.
- Prepares and maintains job descriptions ensuring accurate and current job descriptions exist.
- Benchmarks jobs against salary data and other market intelligence to determine ranges.
- Participates in annual salary surveys. Interprets market data in relation to company positions and organizational structure.
- Assists in the creation of the career framework.
- Leads strategic compensation-related initiatives or projects; such as evolving the job architecture.
- Ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Prepares and presents summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information.
Experience
- 4 to 6 years work experience as a global compensation analyst
- Working with HRIS, including data extraction, analysis, and system report building
- Experience with UKG a plus
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred

- Global salary planning and program administration.

- Highly proficient in conducting compensation research and analyzing information and data.
- Demonstrated auditing skills and attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting.
- Proven analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills and the ability to synthesize information and data.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Microsoft Office experience; strong aptitude and proficiency with Excel required.
- Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information.
- Strong sense of urgency, results, and action-oriented.
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills.
Travel Requirements
- Based on the needs of the business.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
