How you make a difference
The Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting multiple compensation programs and activities, ensuring accurate administration, design, and communication. This includes conducting internal and external marketplace analyses, administering incentive plans, managing compliance initiatives, and handling CBA and SCA administration. The role also involves processing annual increases and providing support for related programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct job description analysis, develop written summaries and recommend pay ranges, utilizing third-party compensation surveys to ensure internal and external competitiveness.
- Prepare market data and pricing analysis to recommend appropriate pricing of labor for client proposals nationwide.
- Manage system audits and partner with HRIS and Payroll to ensure accurate and timely uploads of site-specific reports.
- Analyze cost and implementation of compensation adjustments, including Merit, COLA, and market adjustments.
- Design and utilize audits, reports, and self-service tools to maintain and enhance employee compensation data accuracy.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience performing complex analytical work related to compensation and classification, including experience preparing financial impact analyses of wage determined price adjustments.
- Experience utilizing all forms of compensation research tools to include market data applications such as third party surveys.
- Familiar with theories, principles, and practices, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations governing human resources management.
- Proficient user of all things Microsoft-Office, particularly Excel.
- Kronos experience a plus.
- CBA and SCA knowledge and experience a plus.
