DESCRIPTION
Due to recent acquisitions, the Compensation Department is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join the team.
The Compensation Analyst likes to work in a fast paced, collaborative team. The Analyst performs a variety of compensation activities that require strong Excel skills such as data management, market monitoring, market pricing, job pricing, job classification, and other analytical projects that support the Company. As an Analyst you will consult with leaders and the Human Resource Business Partner across the organization on a variety of compensation related matters with a strong emphasis of providing the compensation reporting that is needed. The Compensation Analyst follows established guidelines but fulfils our compensation philosophy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Provides consultation and recommendations for offers of employment, promotions, and various other compensation related transactions to support Partners and Leaders.
+ Conducts ongoing compensation modeling and statistical/financial reporting and analysis for various compensation programs.
+ Serve as an advocate of compensation and educates Partners on how to carry that forward with the business, they support
+ Evaluates new positions and provides recommendations to HR Business Partner. The Analyst consults and collaborates with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders to understand how their teams and roles are structured.
+ Conducts analysis of compensation related data across multiple systems to benchmark against industry practices and conducts cost/benefit analysis.
+ The Analyst ensures the Company is compliant with applicable federal, state, and local wage laws, keeps abreast of current and anticipated regulatory changes and updates key stakeholders. This includes leading the minimum wage review analysis, and implementation process.
+ Develops and maintains resources for HR and Talent Partners to access key compensation resources, including job descriptions and other guidelines. Designates appropriate access levels for secured information.
+ Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the job code table in HRIS. Ensure consistent formatting, quality, completeness, and leveling.
+ Identify opportunities to continuously improve our tools and streamline processes to increase efficiency of compensation planning efforts
+ Responds to compensation surveys by deadlines
+ Updates and maintains the third-party compensation survey tool
+ Assists in the administration of the Merit and Bonus processes.

Education
+ Bachelor’s Degree
Work Experience
+ 4 years of Human Resources experience that demonstrates strong analysis or 2 years of compensation analysis and administration experience
+ Prefer experience in compensation analysis
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills (Excel skills must include working knowledge of pivot tables, vlookups, formulas, and indexing)
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Good verbal and written communication skills
+ Must be able to create graphic presentations of data analysis.
+ Must be able to handle several assignments simultaneously and comply with deadlines.
+ Must be able to operate a calculator, computer, printer, fax machine, telephone, copier, and shredder.
