This position assists with systemwide compliance initiatives such as the conflict of interest program, reporting, trends analysis, as well as policy and procedure management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports day-to-day operations of the Compliance Program.
- Works to ensure timely resolution of compliance issues and facilitates communication of compliance-related matters.
- Assists in the formulation, review, and revision of compliance policies and procedures, as directed.
- Assists with enterprise compliance risk assessment coordination.
- Assists with the investigation of compliance matters reported via the Emory Trust Line and the EHC Compliance Office. Assists with maintaining regular and consistent governance-level reporting and metrics for the EHC Compliance Office, including but not limited to dashboards, board reporting, weekly, monthly, and annual compliance & ethics reporting.
- Works with Senior Compliance and Privacy Office leadership as well as other key clinical and operational leaders on compliance investigations, issues, and matters.
- Supports the conflict of interest process.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess:
- Experience working as a healthcare compliance professional.
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare compliance rules, regulations, & laws.
- Excellent writing, communication, interpersonal, information technology, and analytical skills.

- Ability to work on a team and work independently, when needed.
- Ability to adjust to changing work demands and multi-task.
- Thorough attention to detail and strong, problem-solving skills.
Education & Experience requirements:
- Bachelors degree required.
- Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in a healthcare organization.
- Masters (MA or MS) or Juris Doctorate (JD) degree may be considered in lieu of certifications and work experience. Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) preferred.
