The Compliance Analyst's primary goal is to ensure PDCU complies with the industry's laws and regulations. This position will assess risks and implement procedures to safeguard the integrity and reputation of the credit union.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify, record, and monitor all laws, compliance, and regulations applicable to credit union operations.
- By monitoring industry news, keep department heads/owners informed about regulatory and legal changes affecting their areas.
- Create and manage the policy process - ensure that required policies are reviewed timely and maintained in a standard format; verify that Policy Log is maintained and accurate.
- Maintain a compliance library that provides adequate and necessary reference material which includes a copy of all the credit union policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Provide compliance support for the credit union. Cultivate outside experts as resources.
- Conduct risk assessments, working with business line owners to identify, mitigate, and control potential risks.
- Monitor and maintain the vendor management program looking for ways to enhance the program as well as verifying that all documentation is being updated by owners.
