Overview of Job Function
Verint’s Compliance Architect improves our information security posture by raising compliance awareness, providing compliance intelligence and supporting both internal teams on compliance needs as well as dealing directly with external auditors. Working across multiple departments, this role prioritizes compliance and information security, establishes trust in our data security, and helps shape the way we manage the protection of our customers and our ever-growing data environment.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
+ Directly interfacing with multiple business units on proper compliance protocols (PCI, HIPPA, SOC, ISO, etc.)
+ Guiding managers on how to implement and keep compliance programs in place
+ Interfacing directly with both internal and external auditors and with current and perspective customers on compliance matters
+ Leading compliance certification projects from start to finish
+ Writing documentation and processes for submission to auditors
+ Recognize compliance related issues by identifying network/data/user access compliance abnormalities and reporting specific compliance related events, incidents and violations to management
+ Implementing compliance improvements by assessing the current environments, evaluating trends, and anticipating future enhancements/requirements
+ Oversight of internal systems and environments to ensure up to date compliance controls and patch levels are being maintained
+ Key contributor to the security team by providing forward thinking and completing associated work-related assignments as required
+ Conduct systems analyst functions within the Verint product suite, ensuring that compliance best practices are being maintained across these hosted deployments
+ Key contributor for the creation and ongoing management of our compliance related policy and procedure documentation
+ Key contributor to maintaining the Verint PCI DSS, SOCII Type II Accreditations, HIPPA, and ISO 27001 certifications and working across our internal teams to ensure that policies, procedures are being adhered to and maintaining our evidence-based history
+ Maintain quality of service by following Verint organizational standards and industry best practices
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Cyber Security or a related technical field
+ 3 + years' experience in Compliance and security Hands on experience with PCI DSS lvl1, SOC2 type2, HIPPA/Hi-trust, ISO 27001
+ 3 + years' experience in Project Management/ Leading Projects General knowledge and understanding of ‘in practice’ compliance and security procedures and industry best practices
+ Ability to identify and analyze compliance related activities
+ Ability to support 24 x 7 Compliance Related Operations
+ Excellent problem-solving skills
+ Excellent written communications/documentation skills
+ Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently in a fast-paced, mission critical facilities environment
+ Successful completion of Verint background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, and SS verification and a credit check for travel related roles
Preferred Requirements:
+ General design and implementation of compliance related programs within a cloud based hosted environment
+ Experience implementing, executing and enforcing compliance programs
+ Experience directly interfacing with auditors
+ Technical writing and documentation experience
+ Experience with one or more major cloud service providers (CSP), such as AWS, GCP and/or Azure with an understanding of native services and networking
+ Experience with Verint products (WFE,XM,KM,EM,ETC..)
+ Previous QSA certification or experience
