As a Compliance Auditor/Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing compliance policies and procedures. You will work closely with various departments to ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal guidelines, helping to mitigate risks and supporting the company's strategic objectives.
Job DescriptionDevelop and implement effective compliance programs
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions. Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal stakeholders and external regulatory agencies.
Assess product, compliance, or operational risks and develop risk management strategies
Disseminate written policies and procedures related to compliance activities
Verify that all company and regulatory policies and procedures have been documented, implemented, and communicated.
Must reside in Virginia, Maryland, or DC area; this is a hybrid position based out of Ashburn, Virginia
Proven experience as a Compliance Auditor/Specialist
In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations
Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities
An analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations
Excellent communication skills
Additional Information
More than 5 years' work experience in the relevant industry.
At least 3 years’ experience as a regulatory compliance auditor/specialist, or similar.
BS/BA in law, finance, business administration or related field
Certified compliance professional is a plus
