We are looking for a Compliance Manager for a local title company providing comprehensive title insurance, underwriting, and closing services to commercial and residential clients. The Compliance Manager is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Regulatory Compliance:
- Monitor and interpret federal, state, and local regulations related to title and escrow operations.
- Ensure the company's practices and procedures comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry standards, and implement necessary adjustments to company policies.

Policy Development and Implementation:
- Develop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures.
- Implement compliance programs and conduct regular assessments to ensure effectiveness.

Audit and Monitoring:
- Conduct internal audits to evaluate compliance with policies and regulations.
- Identify areas of risk and recommend corrective actions.

Training and Support:
- Develop and deliver training programs on compliance-related topics for employees.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff regarding compliance issues and procedures.

Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory agencies and senior management.
- Document compliance activities, including audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance within the escrow/title industry.
- Licensed Escrow Officer
- Strong understanding of title and escrow processes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
