Responsibilities:The Compliance Supervisor assists with the implementation of the various components of Diversified’ s Compliance and Pipeline Safety programs. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Assists the Compliance Manager with maintaining procedures, codes and standards to ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal Regulations.
- Lead the development and implementation of the company’s Operator Qualifications (OQ) program.
- Lead the development of standard operating procedures.
- Analyzes and interprets industry standards and regulations.
- Responsible for helping with the development and implementation of the company’s welding program. Including Welder testing, weld procedure development and weld procedure qualification.
- Lead the management of Compliance data including PHMSA reporting criteria.
- Leads the Compliance department during the incident investigation process.
- Supports the Compliance Manager in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with the various local, state, and federal regulatory offices.
- Lead the Compliance department in collection and preparation of Compliance audit data.
- Leads regulatory audit interactions in TX and LA.
- Work with field employees and conduct QA_QC evaluations on required OQ and procedure tasks.
- Lead the Damage Prevention program.
- Ensure Emergency Plan is up to date.
- Assist the Compliance Manager with data collection and review of RV and PSV valves protecting regulated assets.
- Works with Operations facilitating repairs on regulated facilities and pipelines.
- Ensure that all Pipeline Patrols, Leak patrols, Valve inspections, Atmospheric inspections, Rectifier reads, and Corrosion control are set up in Diversified’s work management system based on regulatory requirements.
- Assist with implementation of Integrity Management Program.
- Work with Corrosion department trouble shooting corrosion control issues.
- Ensure internal corrosion control monitoring is completed on regulated schedule.
- Position can be in the Texas or Louisiana operating footprint.
- Completes special projects, other duties and annual objectives as assigned.
- Position requires 15% overnight travel.
- Knowledge of applicable State and Federal Regulations pertaining to the Transportation of Natural Gas by Pipeline.
- Proficiency in the collection, processing and interpretation of various field data sets.
- Excellent computer skills (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with individuals at all levels within the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and interpret data, and to problem solve.
- Demonstrated ability to instruct and coach other employees at all skill levels.
- Demonstrated technical writing skills.
- Experience with Welder testing and Welding procedure development.
- Experience with corrosion control process and procedures.
- System experience with Cygnet/SCADA.
Required Experience:
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry including pipeline safety program administration or related field operations.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with weld procedure development/ qualification and welder testing.
- Experience with asset data management/ work order management systems- EAM/ MAXIMO
- System experience with Cygnet/ SCADA or similar platform
Education/ Certifications:
- Bachelors in a technical/ industry-related field preferred.
- NACE CP1 or higher, preferred with the ability and willingness to advance knowledge of corrosion control.
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent certification, preferred or capability to acquire within 6 months of employment.
