Johnson Service Group is seeking Composite/Structural Technicians in Northern California and in the Atlanta, GA area.

- Demonstrate hands-on experience in the fabrication, repair, and assembly of composite structures.
- Proficient use of tools and equipment specific to composite materials, such as vacuum bagging, autoclaves, and precision measuring instruments.
- In-depth understanding of various composite materials, resins, and fibers.
- Ability to select appropriate materials based on project requirements and specifications.
- Perform inspections and quality control checks on composite structures to ensure adherence to design specifications and industry standards.
- Non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques for composite materials.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications related to composite structures.
- Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines during all stages of composite structure fabrication, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Communicating and collaborating skills closely with engineers, designers, and other team members in a start-up project environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to composite structure fabrication and assembly.
- Efficient organizational skills to manage work tasks, meet deadlines, and contribute to project timelines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in project requirements and willingness to learn and apply new techniques and technologies in composite materials.
- Accurate record-keeping to document processes, changes, and inspection results.
- Exposure to hazardous materials.
- Inspecting your own work quality and checking for FOD (foreign object debris).
- Ability to adhere to high standards of Safety and Compliance to regulatory requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in aircraft structure, manufacturing, and fabrication.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience with aircraft assembly processes and procedures.
- Experience using software applications such as emailing, internet navigation, model base definition understanding, Microsoft suite and other specialized software.
- Ability to work a variable schedule (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts).
