ASRC Federal Professional Services is seeking a Computer Operator to support a FEMA contract in Emmitsburg, MD.
Work arrangement: Onsite (16825 S Seton Avenue Emmitsburg, MD)
Clearance: Public Trust background investigation via DHS
Summary: The Computer Operator is responsible to support the IT operation of NETC. Respond to the customer within prescribed time based on severity; to include various IT needs. Maintain System Reports that indicate operational status of computers, iPhones and inventory. Using the Remedy System, enter and track tickets. Respond to those as assigned.
Responsibilities:
* Performs registration of PIV cards for personnel and the maintenance of certificates on FEMA IT systems.
* Maintain information technology on multiple computers represented within an onsite system and/or a remote site.
* Performs imaging of FEMA host, to include all patches, upgrades, and enhancements in accordance with FEMA configuration management procedures.
* Monitors FEMA mailbox and examines compliance reports for potential OS upgrades and/or software compliance to eliminate any potential lapse of service.
* Maintains database and ensures accuracy of property to include, but is not limited to, desktops, laptops, iPhones, monitors, printers, and peripherals.
* Completes work orders and property forms to track Government barcoded equipment when leaving designated areas. Maintains ServiceNow (SNow) ticketing system by placing necessary tickets and running weekly reports.
* Upgrade all hardware and software as new devices and software push out, audit systems to be upgraded and ensure software and licenses are available to complete the upgrade.
* Involved in cross-training for mailbox administration to include unlocking of accounts and provide support for successful completion of training.
* Create SOPs for areas of support to cover inventory, iPhone setup/migration, PIV registration, and Work Order requirements.
* Transporting, setting up, and installing media equipment and audiovisual support tools, including speakers, Microphones, Monitors, cameras, and equipment racks.
* Running the live streaming for live events and for the post-production of these events. Recording meetings and presentations with video cameras and maintaining and repairing equipment used to enhance live events, such as microphones, lighting, and sound mixing equipment as well as video recorders.
* Setting up and performing electrical wiring, programming, and basic construction according to layout diagrams and schedules.(AV)
* Developing good relationships with clients to keep production moving and to help production or event coordinators.
* Ensuring all Audio-Visual equipment is carefully and safely stored and complete regular audits of the equipment when requested, resolving technical issues with the Audio-Visual equipment, planning for repair when necessary.
* Conducting basic routine maintenance on all equipment and assisting with keeping track of audio-visual inventory within supported sites.
Requirements:
* Knowledge of: Software Center, Remedy, Windows 10, DHCP, Group Policy, MS Teams, Zoom, Zscaler(Cisco AnyConnect), and other proprietary software.
* Knowledge of Xerox Scanning, Adobe Reader/Acrobat, iOS, and Databases.
* Knowledge of Audiovisual support.
* Ability to work in a Microsoft Office applications environment, especially Microsoft Word and Outlook.
* Ability to work nights, weekends and Holidays as required to support customer.
* Must be able to successfully pass a DHS Public Trust background investigation
Education/Experience:
* HS Graduate, Associates Preferred, helpful to have A+ Certification, Comp TIA, or any Relevant Certifications
* 2 years' experience working with computers and customers Or It Related position.
