Salary Range: $28 to $30 per hour DOE
Introduction:
Rivet Operations Company ("Rivet") has an opening for a Computer Programmer to join our rapidly growing team in the Norco, CA area. This position will be in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Corona Division providing IT and Cyber Security Services. Rivet is an exceptional industry partner to the Department of Defense (DoD) and a leader in cyber security, IT management, logistics, supply chain management, process improvement and development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:
- Assist with software development functions that include: requirements identification, analysis, design, test/quality assurance, risk management, configuration management, documentation, accreditation, and life-cycle management.
- Develop applications to run on Commercial Cloud Service Providers and other Government owned cloud hosted services.
- Perform data modeling and subject matter support to ensure data specifications and requirements to meet long-term needs. This includes analyzing and defining data requirements and specifications.
- Research problems with workflows and sites and develop timely solutions.
- Document, update, and maintain processes, policies, and instructions to support users with software functions.
- Provide programming support for various networks and systems.
- Develop new systems while migrating infrastructure capabilities to meet mission requirements and improve operational efficiency of customers.
- Facilitate and monitor the integration of enterprise-wide Information Systems and infrastructure solutions and services.
- Support Cyber Security to maintain confidentiality, integrity, availability, and non-repudiation for Corona Division.

Education / Experience / Certifications:
- Must Have a high school degree, or a GED, and more than five (5) years of relevant software development and three (3) years of experience performing programming services, OR
- a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and three (3) years of relevant software development and experience performing programming services, OR
- a master's degree in a relevant field.
- Must possess and maintain an IAT level II certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M.
- CompTIA Security+ certification preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
- Proficient problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Enjoys the challenges of a dynamic research and development project.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and obtain and maintain the security clearance required for the position.
Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
