Computer Repair Technician - H - Abacus

Computer Repair Technician(CRT)
1st shift and 2nd shift available
Payrate: $18.00hr

Must be available for overtime as needed.

We are seeking a skilled Computer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and maintenance for computer systems and networks.
**MUST BE ABLE TO KEEP UP WITH PRODUCTION**!!!

Listed below are some requirements/expectations for potential candidates.

· Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing equipment, ordering parts, and adhering to all safety requirements.

· Performs the installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of personal computer and related systems.

· Assists in determining suitable software to meet user requirements.

· Install software, patches, and updates on desktops, laptops and personal devices. Keep accurate tracking of all assets.

· Maintains PC assets in both a physical and logical manner and maintain its accurate tracking.

· Troubleshoots software and hardware failures and identifies network problems when they relate to personal (desktop or laptop) end-user’s computers.

· Interacts with vendors to facilitate repairs of hardware, i.e., printers, laptops and desktops.

· Performs image builds for use on all desktop and laptops.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

· Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook

Duties:

- Install, maintain, and repair computer hardware
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues
- Set up and configure computer systems
- Provide technical support to end-users
- Ensure data security and system integrity
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve technical issues

Skills:

- Proficiency in Technical Support
- Knowledge of Operating Systems (Linux, Mac OS)
- Familiarity with LAN and VPN technologies
- Experience with ServiceNow and Remedy ticketing systems
- Strong understanding of Computer Hardware
- Excellent Customer Service skills
