Our team is expanding, and we are looking for a motivated and dependable professional with an aptitude for IT to join us on our mission to improve the end-user experience for both our clients and their customers.
Job duties include:
- Setup, install and maintain a variety of Point-of-Sale systems.
- On-site hardware installation, end user training and support.
- In-office hardware and software support.
- Provide networking recommendations to site management and immediate supervisors.
- Handle both incoming and outgoing calls to end users, as well as answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and resolving them quickly and efficiently.
- Program datasets and menus for end users within various Point of Sale offerings.
- Maintain detailed documentation of interactions with clients and third parties.
Need to Have:
- Aptitude for IT (Can build a computer, has extreme interest in the topic).
- Intermediate-to-advanced technical understanding of Windows & computer hardware preferred but not required.
- Ability to learn and understand software systems quickly.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to run a project from beginning to end without oversight.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an emphasis on communication.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team but also independently.
- Friendly and patient demeanor.
- Problem solving skills.
- Clean driving record.
Nice to Have but not required:
- Experience with and broad knowledge of networking.
- Formal education in information technology, but not necessary.
- Working knowledge of or hands-on experience with restaurant POS hardware & software.
- Previous experience working in a restaurant.
- Experience training staff one-on-one and in group settings.
More Information:
- Typical work hours 8:30am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. Though some overnight travel and weekends may be required on occasion.
