Concrete Estimator - SST Direct

Seeking an Estimator with concrete experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Hyattsville, MD.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $155,000 per year (based on experience)
Benefits: Full benefits package including PTO, Medical, Dental, and 401k

Responsibilities:

• Conduct project walkthroughs with clients, ensuring accurate intake of project scope details.
• Prepare takeoffs from plan sets and estimate job costs.
• Present detailed bids, including a written scope of work, for submission.
• Attend inspections (city or public works) as required.
• Collaborate with Foreman and Project Manager to discuss project goals, potential roadblocks, and changes in scope.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of hands-on experience in masonry and concrete (commercial sector).
• 5 years of concrete estimating experience, including takeoffs.
• Proficiency with Plan Swift, Bluebeam, and Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of block, brick, stone, stucco, concrete, tile, grading, machine work, precast, repointing, drainage, waterproofing, and reading blueprints.
