About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Civil Concrete Estimator/Project Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of concrete projects from conception to completion. This role requires strong expertise in Heavy Civil estimating costs, coordinating project activities, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Pay $80k- $130k DOE + Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Estimate costs for concrete projects based on project requirements, specifications, and drawings.
- Coordinate project activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and subcontractor management.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and overall project delivery.
- Monitor project progress and budget expenditures, implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure project profitability.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards on all project sites.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, budget, and risks.
- Manage change orders and variations to project scope, ensuring all changes are documented and approved by stakeholders.
- Mentor and provide guidance to project team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- 5 Years of construction experience.
- Proven experience in concrete estimation and project management, preferably in the Heavy Civil construction industry.
- Strong proficiency in construction estimating software and project management tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
