Innovative Concrete, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Concrete Estimator to join our dynamic team. As a Concrete Estimator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing assigned jobs, managing bid opportunities, and ensuring the successful estimation of commercial concrete construction projects. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions to our clients.

- Oversee assigned jobs, including labor, materials, equipment, scheduling, and submittals.
- Assist in requests, receiving, and managing bid opportunities.
- Read and comprehend all provided bid and preconstruction documents.
- Estimate various-sized commercial concrete construction projects, including quantity take-offs, securing vendor/material quotes, and subcontractor quotes.
- Understand job plans and specifications thoroughly and complete bid and proposal reviews.
- Write and submit proposals, resolve cost differences, and complete bid/bidder inquiries.
- Participate in pre qualification requests and follow up on previously submitted bids.
- Prepare initial job notes for new projects for Project Management and the field.
- Transition jobs from estimating to project management, including planning, buyouts, scope, etc.
- Review cost history on completed projects and apply appropriate prices and labor factors.
- Stay ahead of crews by four weeks on RFI's, procurement of materials, and scheduling.
- Coordinate with General Contractors and other Subcontractors.
- Review all project documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the field in helping to create and coordinate change orders.
- Represent Innovative Concrete, LLC professionally, building trusting relationships with clients.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with all personnel.
- Maximize problem-solving through communication and work with others to resolve issues ahead of scheduled work.
- Maintain all paperwork needed for job sites and attend team meetings, owner/architect meetings, and present job cost, scheduling updates, and project status reports.
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and handle competing priorities.
- Willingness to work long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to travel to various job sites and work in adverse weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Dependability and punctuality with regular and reliable attendance.
- Responsible for proper use of company credit cards and submission of receipts to the finance department by the last day of the month.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Knowledge of concrete installation and procedures.
- Proficiency with technology and leadership qualities.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and honesty.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
- Must pass background checks and drug screening.
