Concrete Field Safety Representative - Gpac

One of the Country’s top concrete contractors is seeking a dedicated Concrete Field Safety Representative to ensure a safe working environment on their job sites. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality concrete construction services while prioritizing the safety of their team and clients. As a Concrete Field Safety Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations on concrete construction sites. You will conduct safety inspections, training, and assessments to minimize risks and enhance the safety culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on job sites to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Develop and implement safety plans and programs specific to concrete construction activities.
• Provide safety training and orientation for new employees and subcontractors.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to address safety concerns and improve safety practices.
• Monitor and maintain safety equipment and supplies.
• Stay current with OSHA regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a safety role within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on concrete work.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards related to construction.
• Strong observational and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in Safety Management (e.g., OSHA 30-hour, Certified Safety Professional).
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Experience with risk assessment and safety program development.
