Concrete Finisher - Aerotek

About the Job
Position: Commercial Concrete Finisher
Shift: Monday – Friday 7a - 4p
Pay: $20 - $28
• Mileage: If the project is over 45 miles from downtown Indianapolis, you will receive mileage at the national average to and from the job site.
Project Locations: Their typical territory is about a 60-mile radius around the 465 loop.
Project types: Smaller foundation concrete pours (Slabs - 5000sqft and under), sidewalks, and curbs.
Concrete Finisher Responsibilities:
• Setting the forms that hold concrete.
• Place concrete into forms.
• Smoothing out, leveling, and finishing freshly poured concrete.
• Spread, level, and smooth concrete.
• Lift, carry, and hold material, tools, and supplies.
• Operating power construction equipment.
• Remove rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces.
• Patch holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound.
• Understand and interpret blueprints.
Tools you’ll need experience using:
• Trowels
• Float Blades and Troweling Blades
• Groove Cutter/Jointer Tool
• Edgers
• Brooms
Qualifications:
• Previous residential/commercial concrete finishing experience
• Reliable transportation
