Our Concrete Paving Mechanic will inspect, service, and repair concrete paving and batch plant equipment.
What you will be doing:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Performs routine maintenance on project site equipment.
- Tests and inspects engines for malfunctioning parts, repairs or replaces worn, defective, or broken parts.
- Adjusts components according to specifications.
- Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.
- Performs additional assignments per management’s direction.

Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with hand tools, including screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers, pneumatic tools and diagnostic equipment. May use compression gauges, ammeters, and voltmeters to rest engine performance.

- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear and drive.
- Regularly required to use full range of body motion including handling and operating various hand and power tools, manual finger dexterity and eye-hand coordinatio
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, reach, crawl, climb, twist, squat or crouch
- Regularly requires working at heights, a strong sense of balance, climbing and descending ladders frequently
- Often requires lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling items weighing up to 60 lbs
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Able to wear the required safety personal protective equipment
