The work:
Configuration Manager to provide overall CM support for the infrastructure & environment to the product development team in accordance with Agile methodologies as defined in the DoDI 5000.87. Develops Configuration Management & Change Management plans/processes, and ensures the team is following best practices for the configuration management of development and infrastructure artifacts, as well as change management guidance and protocol to enable end-to-end traceability of change requests implemented by teams. This workstream works in close collaboration with the requirements analysts, and external system partner teams to ensure artifacts and releases are managed and controlled. This role maintains the CM repository and facilitates privileged access for new developers/system administrators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as a principal advisor to the Government on all matters, technical and otherwise, involving the security of an Information System (IS)
- Owns, manages, and regulates the daily execution of the IT Change Management Process including managing and facilitating Technical Review Board and Configuration Control Board
- Plans, executes, controls, measures, monitors and reports on all CM activities impacting business applications and infrastructure systems
- Manages and executes the software build and release process
- Manages and maintains Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow CMDB, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint)
- Documents and maintains the technical baseline
- Oversee the Change Request process
- Provides direction for the resolution of change request issues and fosters a common understanding of the CM processes scope, CI, applicability, and key sub-processes
- Ensures the CM system supports Agile/SCRUM development processes
- Identifies and maintains the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software, and related documentation
- Tracks all problems and changes in product documents and software and reports changes and current configuration
- Collaborates with developers on materials and updates for applications and systems
- Provides subject matter expertise in other meetings and forums, including customer technical meetings
Here's what you need:
- Minimum 2 years of related experience performing a variety of Configuration Management functions, including complete traceability of all requirements, configuration change control, audits, and associated documentation, including ITSM
- Possess strong attention to detail where the quality of products, services, and processes are a constant focus
- Excellent communication skills/interpersonal skills and experience interacting with team and clients
- Active DoD Secret clearance
Bonus points if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Engineering Management, Math, or equivalent
- Previous DoD experience, preferably within the MHS
- Experience with NIST guidance
- Experience conducting Change Control Boards
- Experience in AWS, Jenkins, SharePoint
- Experience in agile ALM/collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub
- ITIL 4 certification or experience with ITIL

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
