PRISM seeks a Configuration Manager with an Active DOD Secret Clearance to interface with the community, which includes project managers, developers, technical system owners, and business system owners, as well as resources for Release Management involvement on new projects and implementations. You will support developers, users, and the Quality Assurance team regarding code storage, builds, and code movement from development through the test phases and into the production environment through automation.
In this role, you will also Coordinate and administer all Configuration Management activities, including formulating procedures for and executing the introduction of changes to engineering documents and overseeing the review of released engineering change data and change documentation activities to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies.
Other Duties:
Develop and maintain automation templates within Release Management.
Ensure accurate documentation for change and version control.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
Balance business needs with change control requirements.
Promote software to test and production environments.
Support review boards and decision-making processes.
Analyze build reports and coordinate issue resolution.
Enforce and maintain configuration management plans.
Develop and implement CM procedures and processes.
Conduct CM audits to assess process integrity.
Manage the CI process, including CI development and ITSM updates.
Evaluate project ticketing needs and provide recommendations.
Create and implement CM plans to meet customer requirements.
Train team members on CM processes and requirements.
Identify and correct deviations from established processes.
Continuously evaluate CM plan effectiveness.
Required:
Active DoD Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain a position of trust clearance
4-7 years of experience implementing, maintaining, and managing IT configuration in a complex IT environment.
Knowledge of IT Configuration Management programs, techniques, processes, and procedures.
Experience running Configuration Control Boards, meetings, and other required briefings, preferably in a government enterprise environment.
