JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing detailed conformity inspections on fabricated articles produced by Comlux Completions and outside vendors.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Conducts inspections of fabricated sheet metal parts, cabinetry, wire bundles and other aircraft interior components utilizing the relevant tools and/or equipment, as applicable, to ensure conformity with specifications, drawings or other approved data defined within the STC.
- Conduct inspections of conformed aircraft articles being installed in the aircraft defined within the STC.
- Use precise measuring and test equipment.
- Audit task cards, non-routines and associated work order package documentation prior to release of aircraft.
- Other duties not specifically covered herein but otherwise assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, ETC:
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, aircraft drawings, wiring diagrams and other engineering documentation.
- 2+ Years Inspection/or equivalent experience in Completions
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proficient knowledge and expertise with Inspection procedures.
- Strong knowledge of computers and related software.
- Willing to work overtime with little or no notice.
- Willing to work shifts.

The location where this position works is in an aircraft hangar environment which is subject to weather changes, constant exposure to loud noise, potential contact with hazardous waste material and other safety hazards such as aircraft, steps, interior components: divans, chairs, other cabinets etc.

Reports to: Quality Supervisor, Chief Inspector
Manages: None
Career Path: Inspector Lead, Supervisor, Chief Inspector.
