JOB SUMMARY
This position leads an enterprise team of Connected Community Sales and Retention Associates in their field sales activities. Responsible for contributing to the development, implementation, and measurement of Cable One community sales and marketing programs and initiatives, helping to meet and exceed budgeted sales goals. Implementing sales plans to support company objectives for market penetrations at rates consistent with short- and long-term business goals. Responsible for the oversight and execution of sales strategies and tactics to grow Cable One's customer base.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Develops and manages the planning, execution, deployment and tracking of on-going Multi Dwelling Unit sales activity across the organization to increase team sales productivity in order to meet or exceed customer growth and revenue projections.
- Responsible for meeting and exceeding budgeted headcount and sales goals.
- Oversee territory assignments and MDU portfolios to maximize sales efforts within competitive MDU communities.
- Stays abreast of latest market dynamics, trends and competitive offers and tactics within the overall footprint and makes sound response recommendations to upper management with supporting case study.
- Provides regular performance feedback to Associates through coaching opportunities and the formal performance evaluation process.
- A charismatic and enthusiastic leader with skill and experience in creating excitement and energy, building, and leading teams and developing skills in others.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage and monitor functions relative to staff including selection, training, development, performance evaluation, discipline, termination, and salary/status change recommendations.
- Possess the knowledge and expertise to lead, guide and develop Associates.
- Identify knowledge and training gaps within the Associates and develop plans to address these gaps.
- Be familiar with reporting and analytics necessary to drive and support business decisions.
- Collaborate with other departments and or support teams to achieve goals and objectives.
- Monitor the payroll process and ensure timely and accurate approval of all commission payments.
- Completes administrative tasks related to all sales activities and ensures their team does the same.
- Has detailed understanding of Cable One & Family Brands product offerings and value proposition in the markets they sell in.
- Maintains current, in-depth knowledge of marketplace, including competition, and positive and professional relationships with customers, business partners, and co-workers.
- Prepares reports as needed.
- Perform other duties as requested by leadership.

- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Current driver's license, reliable vehicle, and good driving record.
- Prefer sales management experience. Desire to help build dynamic, competitive, performance-oriented business sales region. Superior motivational and leadership skills. Well organized, self-motivated, professional appearance, goal-oriented with a positive attitude.
