Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:
- Create awareness and excitement around Navistar’s Connected Vehicle Technology for customers at sales calls, sales blitzes, industry events, seminars, workshops and open houses.
- Create, communicate, and capture the value (sales) of Navistar’s technology suite by having customers order, subscribe, or renew subscriptions to Navistar products and services.
- Teach and support sales, parts, and service team members on how we can differentiate ourselves from other dealers and OEM through utilization of the Navistar Connected Vehicle Technology.
- Work with sales and service teams to assist customers successfully enroll in, adopt, and receive value from Connected Tech Solutions.
- Interact with our customers via their communication method of choice, attend customer meetings, and industry events.
- Actively represent our dealership and international/IC Bus at Industry Associations.
- Travel to Dealer and Navistar locations and customer sites; Operating company or personal vehicle as needed.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- High level of interest in the IT space
- 2 years of experience in the transportation industry OR 2 years of technology sales/customer support OR 1 year truck sales admin/support experience.
- Must be able to create and communicate the value of our dealer’s business portfolio to customers in the field and at their job sites.
- Ability to communicate at all levels of an organization – from CEOs to Technicians.
- Technology sales experience in commercial vehicles or similar industries.
- Must be able to follow through on the sales process from customer identification, qualification, enrollment, deployment, and follow-up to assure adoption and utilization of connected Technology Solutions.
- Have Excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Job requires specialized computer skills. Candidates will have high comfort using Microsoft Office Suite and prove proficient learning new software and hardware offerings via hands-on, webinars, or via web-based training solutions.
- Candidates must be capable of mastery of Navistar’s OnCommand suite of technology applications.
- Comfortable in a dynamic, customer facing environment
- Motivation to be in or advance into a goal-oriented, quota-carrying role
- Excellent interpersonal skills.

Pay Range:$26.00 - $33.00
