Console Operator II - Gus Perdikakis Associates

Console Operators will be responsible for monitoring electronic security systems including intrusion detection, video cameras, badge verification, and general access control. In addition, Operators will also be tasked with providing remote gate access, receiving, and reacting to large call volume, regulatory requirements, maintaining enterprise situational awareness and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements: 

• High school diploma / GED
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask
• Proficient computer and MS Office suite skills
• Must be willing to work a rotating/flexible schedule - weekends, holidays, evenings
• Ability to assess people and situations, to apply sound judgement, to remain calm under stressful conditions and elicit essential information for assigning and assisting field personnel in a timely manner
• Maintaining a high level of confidentiality dealing with incidents and security techniques

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring the safety of company employees and property by monitoring and responding to physical access control system alarms in a prescribed manner
• Interacting with callers/customers to determine location, nature of incident/issues to determine appropriate response
• Perform data entry in multiple databases
• Follow established procedures
• Keeping detailed records, data entry, and acute listening skills
