We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Construction Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. Job Description: As a Construction Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records related to our construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Your role will involve a variety of accounting tasks including invoicing, budgeting, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Process and track project-related invoices, purchase orders, and expenses. Assist in the preparation of project budgets and forecasts. Reconcile project accounts and manage accounts payable/receivable. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies. Prepare and submit financial reports for review. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Coordinate with project managers and vendors to resolve any financial discrepancies. Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and reports. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in the construction industry. Proficiency in accounting software (Timberline Preferably) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of construction industry financial practices is a plus.
