ACCOUNTS PAYABLE Specialist / Clerk (Portland, OR area)

Just in last week from a local Commercial General Contractor! Now setting up conversations with Construction ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALISTS in Portland, OR. Seeking someone who can direct and process vendor and subcontract payables while directing a positive experience and developing long-term relationships. Success in this role will need timely communication with various personality types at all levels of an organization, subcontractors and vendors.

Responsibilities for Accounts Payable Role:

• Coordinating and processing all accounts payable vendor invoices through the eCMS accounting system check issuance
• Ensure that all related accounts payable transactions are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with established policies and procedures
• Entry of new vendors, new job budget set up, and job budget revisions
• Monthly processing of corporate visa cards
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Report reconciliation between Procore job cost and eCMS job cost
• W9 collection and annual 1099 processing

Experience & Qualifications for Accounts Payable Role:

• Would like 2-year degree (but not required with previous applicable experience)
• 2+ yrs. experience working in accounts payable in the construction industry
• Attention to accuracy and detail is paramount
• Great organizational and problem-solving skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and  Procore experience is a big plus!
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
