client's Production Engineering Battery Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Construction Coordinator Position.
The primary responsibility of this position is to plan and execute offload, stage, place, set, and level of battery production. This role will also support the Battery department's objective to execute Capital Projects from planning thru Start of Production (SOP).
This position will be located at TBMNC in Liberty, NC and report to the CMG Manager for Battery.

General Description:
Responsible for managing general contractors and subcontractors, scopes, budgets, and schedules related to installation of automotive lithium-ion battery manufacturing equipment.
Administer equipment installation construction contracts; conduct on-site inspection to monitor plan compliance.
Direct activities of contractors and subcontractors to support project schedule in compliance with plans and specifications.
Research, plan, and administer equipment installation projects, applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, and building materials.
Present status reports to owner. Receive, review and coordinate contract changes into project delivery.
Be intimately and completely knowledgeable of current and future activities in area(s) of responsibility and be able to implement countermeasures to support project schedule.
Take proactive measures to ensure a safe job site. Monitor and promote compliance with client safety rules and procedures at the job site; correct and report issues/incidents in a timely manner.
Detailed Description of Responsibilities:
Supervises heavy industrial equipment installation site on behalf of client.
Coordinate communications between owner and installation general contractor.
Coordinates heavy equipment installation scheduling and communication with general contractor.
Manage GC's RFI (Requests for Information) and owner's CCR (Criteria Change Requests)
Manage intake and processing of field change orders.
Author equipment installation scope of work and bid packages, including compilation of necessary inputs from Production Engineering.
Develop budgetary estimates for scope of equipment installation bid packages.
May be responsible for developing schedules and ordering materials.
Coordinate weekend/shutdown work plans with contractors, facilities, NAMC shops, PC, and PE.
Have knowledge of heavy industrial equipment installation methods.
Have knowledge of connecting electrical, piping, mechanical and HVAC services to heavy industrial equipment.
Develop project status reports for management review.
Monitor equipment installation methods for confirmation that installation meets client specifications and expectations.
Take proactive measures to ensure a safe job site.
Monitor and promote compliance with client safety rules and procedures at the job site; correct and report issues/incidents in a timely manner.

Plan and execute machine integration into mass production, leveling, adjustment and quality conformation for assigned work area.
Perform basic administrative skills including documentation of work performed by written/electronic methods.
Ability to problem solve and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.
Develop denwacho (detail schedule) for assigned work area / project.
Participate in project planning with Engineering.
Demonstrate the ability to learn new processes.
Supporting Machine production trials at vendors and internal to client
Verify Safety of Equipment per MMR/MMS (NFPA79 and ISO standards) via "Safety Integrity Check”
What you bring:
Facility or Plant equipment installation experience in a manufacturing environment or equipment installation in a new facility or plant experience.
Experience with Electrical and/or mechanical systems in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Technical experience with wiring and troubleshooting
Availability to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns
Ability to stand, stoop, and walk throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant for many hours of the day.
Ability to ascend & descend stairs throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant.
Ability to bend, kneel and crawl to gain access to equipment for repair
Ability to lift, push and pull 25 pounds in a one-time event
The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a "reasonable accommodation.”
Required Qualifications:
Level of experience 10-15 years.
10+ years of experience in industrial construction projects, with emphasis on heavy industrial equipment installation.
