Talascend is currently seeking a Construction Estimator Project Manager (Waterproofing) for a contract opportunity in Broadview Heights, OH
We seeking a qualified Construction Estimator Project Manager with a strong background in weatherproofing and new construction projects to join a growing team in the Cleveland, OH area
Our ideal candidate is someone who demonstrates excellent communication skills, is highly organized, is a great problem solver, is very efficient, and has strong attention to detail & time management
In this role, you are responsible for estimating the cost of commercial projects
This involves reviewing project plans, specifications, and other relevant information to determine the materials, labor, and equipment required to complete the project
Minimum requirement of 3-5 years of experience
We are looking to fill this position immediately.
We understand the individual needs and requirements of every project and work hand in hand with architects, engineers, and general contractors to ensure proper materials and techniques are utilized in every case

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for estimating and managing commercial construction projects from start to finish
Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to develop accurate cost estimates
Analyze and interpret project blueprints, drawings, and specifications to accurately estimate material, labor, and equipment costs
Prepare take-offs, the scope of work, and bid packages for commercial construction projects
Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain quotes
Analyze bid results and prepare detailed proposals and cost estimates for clients
Manage commercial construction projects from pre-construction to project completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
Monitor project progress and communicate with clients, subcontractors, and project team members to ensure that project goals are met
Develop project leads
Coordinate and manage all projects, and activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
Ensure that project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports, is completed accurately and on time
Business Development: We want to continue driving revenue growth and contributing to the overall success of our organization
You will be responsible for identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities, as well as maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients
Education & Experience
Minimum education level of a bachelor’s degree in construction management, or a related field
The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience as a commercial construction estimator and be knowledgeable of project management principles
Understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications
Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
A high degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with Specialty Contractors or a "Self-Performing" contractor
Experience in sales/marketing a plus
Strong leadership and management skills
Travel: Travel to and from job sites is required
Company will compensate for travel expenses if applicable.
