CONSTRUCTION HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER
We are looking for on-site construction safety managers for various electrical construction projects consisting of electric substation breaker upgrades, relay upgrades, and generating station upgrades; various civil construction projects consisting of concrete structure rehabilitations, demolitions, and earthworks; and mechanical projects consisting of equipment upgrades and overhead crane upgrades.
The on-site construction safety managers will be responsible for enforcing safety programs during construction, development of activity hazard assessments, contractor oversight, review and management of safety submittals, safety documentation, safety audits, corrective actions, field change requests and daily on-site safety meetings.
Required Skills/ Qualification/ Education:
Qualifications and Required Experience:
Education background of a BS in a basic science or technical degree in the field of EHS management, or relevant work experience in EH&S is required.
At least 8-10 years of related construction safety experience is required.
Demonstrated ability to utilize computer software (systems used are Microsoft Office, intra/internet, etc.) including helping to implement the EHS Electronic Software Platform at the site.
