Construction Inspector (Electrical) - Expedient Staffing Solutions

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and conduct inspections, oversee field testing, and manage commissioning.
• Assist with construction change orders and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
• Manage and maintain reports, narratives, quantities, logs, and time/material tickets.
• Attend progress meetings and distribute minutes.
• Ensure safety, permit compliance, and coordinate with nearby projects.
• Monitor contractor adherence to plans and safety protocols.
• Coordinate utility shutdowns and work to minimize public disruptions.
• Prepare punch lists with the owner at project completion.

   

Requirements:

• Preferred Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Preferred New York State Professional Engineering license.
• Over 10 years of experience as a construction inspector.
• Preferred OSHA 30-hour safety course certification or ability to obtain it.
• Experience with high and low voltage systems.
