Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM Hunt** is seeking a **Construction Intern** to be based in **Los Angeles, CA** _This position is expected to begin in October 2024._ The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: + Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks. + Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff. + Meets required schedules while producing quality work. + Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study. As evidenced by our long list of repeat clients, we focus on specific needs to create strong relationships and consistently exceed expectations. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar discipline, and must have completed at least 3 years of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with the Master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience working for a large general contractor. + Previous relevant internship experience. + Exposure to other construction-based computer programs. + Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook), as well as exposure to other construction-based computer programs **Additional Information** + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. + Relocation assistance is not available for this position. + Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
