Barnard Construction Company is looking for professionals to join our Pipestem Reservoir Project Teamin Jamestown, ND. Barnard is a heavy-civil construction company with projects underway all acrossNorth America. Our team specializes in dam construction and rehabilitation, power transmission anddistribution, inland marine, oil and gas, and underground work. The Pipestem Reservoir Project is beginning in March of 2023 with an anticipated end date in 2025.Wage rate compensation is in accordance with North Dakota Prevailing Wage Rates for HeavyConstruction Projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Must possess competence in the following areas in order to perform his/her role in a safe, productive manner:

• Digging, spreading, shoveling and leveling of dirt and gravel
• Lift, carry and support construction material delivery and placement
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete, gravel and other materials.
• Perform clean-up work in connection with the above work

Position Requirements:

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to handle weight up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to maintain balance.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Able and willing to work long, irregular and varied hours, 50 to 70 hours per week.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Ability to safely and effectively perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal , state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
