Construction Laborer / Technician - ETIC

ETIC (headquartered in Pleasant Hill, Contra Costa County, CA) is a seeking professional, safe, talented and self-motivated Construction Laborer for work in areas throughout Northern California.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and remove BMPS, such as silt fencing, fiber rolls, construction fencing, jute netting, hydroseeding, etc. • Assist with general construction tasks, including, but not limited shoveling, trenching, pipe installation, backfilling/compacting, sweeping, and spotting or flagging for various construction projects involving Demolition, Earthwork, Underground Utilities. • Safely and efficiently operate small equipment that may include forklifts, water trucks, dump trucks, mechanized trenchers, hydroseeders, etc. • Work closely with and under the direction of a Crew Lead/Foreman/Superintendent. • Ensure that all field procedures and safety protocols are followed in compliance with ETIC and client-specific requirements • Report to various job-sites as needed. May require travel overnight and working out-of-town up to several weeks at a time.

Successful Candidates Should Have:

• 2-5 years of verifiable Laborer Experience. • Physical strength and stamina required to complete strenuous work for long shifts outdoors. • Great decision making and problem-solving skills. • Great oral communication and comprehension skills. • Excellent professionalism and teamwork needed. • Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record. • Must meet company defined, pre-employment physical including alcohol/drug screens. • High School Diploma or equivalent. • HAZWOPER 40-hour training preferred (but not required).

Pay Range is $19.00 - $29.00 DOE.
